Utilizing virtual reality on projects can enhance understanding of the design intent and improve constructability.
We have found that the thoughtful application of VDC and BIM can enhance the confidence, communication, and understanding of the project team, allowing collaboration from start to finish. In using VDC to supplement discussions, time is spent discussing and resolving issues that the team can visualize together.
We use technology to visualize aspects of the finished product and simulate construction virtually, finding and correcting as many errors as possible before we start building. Through the coordination and clash detecting process, our VDC and project teams provide Live Models to give a future picture of the work, and valid data to support problem solving. This has proven to be an exceptional tool for both the client and trades, helping each member clearly understand design intent, and in turn, improve overall project efficiency, quality and cost.
