Matt Parent founded Venture General Contracting in 2010. A 30-year veteran of the construction industry, Matt is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Venture including all processes from client relations through site due diligence.
Matt exudes energy and a genuine enthusiasm for the building industry, which has always been a big part of his life. As a company leader, he cares deeply about giving back to the local community and believes in the power of connecting people and fostering partnerships through civic engagement.
Jack Beaudoin has very broad experience in the construction industry, privileged to work over the years with many of the prominent developers, end users, tenants, designers, and real estate professionals in our community. His professional career has taken him throughout the US and Canada, although he has called Seattle his home for the last 30 years.
Jack enjoys getting others involved in the industry through his leadership and is a known innovator and creative problem solver. During his career, Jack was instrumental in developing the standards for the Puget Sound’s Salmon Safe Accreditation program and more recently, Jack was a founding member of ConstructDiversity, a group of like-minded professionals committed to bringing a higher level of racial and gender diversity to construction.
Darin brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with extensive experience throughout the Puget Sound and Canada. He is an integral part of the day-to-day operations of Venture, and plays a significant role in leading our project management and engineering departments. Darin is passionate about mentoring the next generation of builders and is committed to serving the community we build in through civic engagement.
As Director of Human Resources, Erin is responsible for the hiring and onboarding of all new team members. Her passion for human resources is evident in the relationships she builds with each person who joins our team. She is driven by the core values of Venture and believes in giving every employee the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Helio brings more than 10 years in the construction industry with experience throughout the Puget Sound, with a background in architecture, project engineering, and construction technology. In his role, Helio is responsible for the successful implementation of Virtual Design (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to better manage all elements of a project. Helio is passionate about adopting new technologies that enhance the building process and improve communication across the greater project teams.
Curt joined Venture in 2024 as the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial oversight of the company. In his role, Curt works closely with the company's leadership to shape the organization's financial strategy and establish priorities for the planning process. He oversees operational accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, human resources, risk management, and information technology at Venture.
Abby Steiner is a seasoned Risk Manager specializing in Contracts and Insurance, known for her expertise in mitigating project risks and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, she helps Venture navigate complex challenges and safeguard their assets.
As Director of Business Development, Chris is responsible for strategically growing Venture’s presence throughout the Pacific Northwest. With 30 years of experience in the local industry, Chris is skilled at aligning our team’s expertise with the needs of the market, as well as developing and maintaining Venture’s strong client relationships.
As Sr. Marketing Manager, Dani provides strategic direction to Venture’s marketing and communications initiatives. In addition to ensuring that Venture’s branding and messaging reflect the core values of the company, Dani is passionate about leading our community engagement and philanthropic efforts, most notably our partnership with the local Make-A-Wish chapter.
