6-floor, 133,000 sf commercial office TI in the 800 5th building in Downtown Seattle. The project consisted of all new finishes, revamped conference/meeting areas, an upgraded lobby, new lighting/controls, and improved HVAC systems. The project was separated into three phases so that only two floors were under construction at a time. This allowed for non-construction floors to remain occupied by the tenant. With work being performed in this 40-story high-rise, proactive coordination and communication with the building management and engineering team were required throughout construction. This included weekly pass-downs, notifying the building of which subcontractors will be on site and what their scopes of work were for the week.
